The apartment in Zvi Herman Shapira street, is a duplex including a 50 sqm. terraced roof. An outdoor private space is quite rare in the city and when it is found, life aims to revolve around it. However, most of the apartment space is located in the entrance floor thus the upper floor contains only a little room. In order to allow the terraced roof to function at is most, the upper room became a study - a public space - from which the family can go outside to an open-air sitting and dining area, a kitchen and a shower - an outdoor space which enables all household activities.

A staircase streches from the entrance level to the roof. High light from the open study reaches the stairs and the entrance floor.

The entrance floor was re-designed with a seperation between a public part and a private part including a parents suite and a children's room.
